About Us

CHANGE THE END

Our goals

Change the End is a nonprofit-organized movement determined to push for a societal shift towards a more sustainable lifestyle that will allow for the maintenance of a healthy civilization on a clean planet. Currently, not only individuals contribute to climate change and pollution, but also, even more impactfully, governments and corporations around the world produce significant carbon footprints that are showing a marked effect on everyday modern life, from the raging yearly fires on the American West Coast to the massive Pacific garbage patch to the nearly unbreathable, smog-filled air in industrial China. At Change the End, we believe that true passion shown by the public can help us enact serious political reform. Our mission statement is “to fight climate change via political action, community work, and raising awareness,” but a whole is nothing but the sum of its parts. You can help by signing up for our upcoming events, educating yourself on the issue by reading our political and informative news articles, and shifting to a more sustainable way of living by applying the advice offered on our "Personal Impact" page. Together, we can Defy the Inevitable. We can Change the End.

Every year around September in Ayla’s home of California, smoke fills the air, ash covers the cars, and homes are burnt to the ground. After she herself received an evacuation warning, Ayla decided to make a difference. She has been surrounded by destruction and death her whole life because of global warming, and that needs to change. She believes in the power of individual action and hopes to do her utmost to protect our planet and inspire her community to do the same.

A teenager who grew up in California, Ada Praun-Petrovic witnessed firsthand the steadily worsening effects of climate change. From annoying but tolerable heat waves to fires that spread across the entire state and consumed her own friends’ homes, a threat that many wrote off as a distant possibility became a terrifying reality. In 2020, after months of anxious nightmares, weighing fears, and a growing dread of an uncertain future, Ada decided to take action and push for significant change to ensure her own generation’s right to live in a clean, non hazardous world.
